Terms and Conditions (Accommodation Advertisers)
One-off-Fee Advertising
One-off-fee adverts will be displayed for the lifetime of the site including any future re-designs to the site. The listing fee is a one-off payment. For administrative purposes, we consider that one-off fee adverts pay for 365 days advertising with ongoing open-ended advertising thereafter provided free of charge for the duration of the life of this website.
We have been providing and managing accommodation web directories since 1996.
We will periodically check that adverts link to valid accommodation websites. We reserve the right to remove adverts where it appears that a business has ceased trading or the website is no longer live. "Bad links" harm the directory and reduce the value of everyone's adverts.
We reserve the right to remove adverts without notice or refund if we feel that they link to sites that are inappropriate, misrepresentative, misleading or contain spyware or malware.
We similarly reserve the right, as owners of this website, to refuse to advertise any business on our site at our discretion without providing a reason.
The Service
- A picture and brief text link to your advert will appear in the relevant accommodation section AND in the "all accommodation" listings.
- You will receive a full page advert, with up to 3 images and 3 links to your main website.
- Listings are fully randomised so that all advertisers receive equal exposure and prominence
- Your property will appear periodically in the "featured property" box on a randomised rotation
- You pay for a dedicated advert page. We will not use Google Adwords OR allow any other accommodation provider to advertise on your page.
Please note: The main directory listings on this website are for accommodation providers ONLY. We offer banner advertising for other businesses which we feel compliment the site's content at our discretion. Terms and prices below.
Amending Adverts
You can amend your listing with new images, tariff rates and text (supplied by you) for a minimal fee of £10 plus vat at any time.
When your advert goes live on the site, we will contact you for approval and feedback. Any incorrect information / amendments that you request within 7 days of that notification will be made free of charge. Changes after that period, will be subject to the minimum charge (see above).
Tracking your Advert
The purpose of your advert is to drive traffic to your main website where you will hopefully receive a booking enquiry. Your web hosting company should be able to provide you with information on how much traffic is reaching your site through the Cotswold Way Accommodation Directory.
We can search how many users have exited our site via your advert page over a specified period but there is a £10 plus vat admin fee for this service. The tracking data is not directly controlled by us and as such we cannot guarantee this service - but if the data is not available you will not be charged for the search.

Refunds & Cancellations
We offer clients a 7 day cooling off period from the day that we send a notification email that the advert has gone live. During that time we will withdraw the advert at your request and provide a full refund.
After 7 days we are unable to provide any refunds though we will withdraw adverts at the request of the accommodation owners as promptly as practicable.

Banner Advertising
We offer banner advertising at our discretion to compliment this website at the prices below. Types of businesses welcomed include, but are not limited to: tourist attractions, accommodation providers, local businesses & service providers such as restaurants, riding stables etc.
- Banner Advertising is booked for 6 months at a time.
- £150 pays for an advert in the right hand margin of the home page
- £100 pays for an advert to appear in the right hand margin of two internal pages on the site
We do not display adverts on the individual pages of accommodation providers
The site administrators have full discretion over the placement of all banner advertising. Whilst advertisers can express a preference for where their advert appears, we do not guarantee that advertising will appear in any specific location.

Disclaimers (Use of the Site)
Accuracy
It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure that information displayed on the Connexions Eden Project Accommodation Directory is correct and up-to-date. The Site administrators accept no liability for incorrect information, including tariffs.
We would always recommend that customers verify the cost of accommodation directly with the accommodation provider before travelling.
External Sites
The Connexions Eden Project Accommodation Directory accepts no responsibility for the content of external sites.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information you give us lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent (except when you have already sent us an email).
We will only use the information we collect about you with your consent to tell you about our services.
We will never wilfully disclose personal information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission or unless we are under a legal obligation to do so.
We do not use cookies or any other technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site.
