Eden Project - Location

The Eden Project is situated in a disused China Clay pit at Bodelva near St. Austell, Cornwall, and benefits from excellent transport links with the rest of the country. While the majority of visitors arrive by car, regular bus and train services offer .........

Travelling By Car
Eden is easily accessible from the main routes through Cornwall. For visitors outside the county take the M5 south-westerly until Junction 31, then follow the A30 and then the A391. The Eden Project is signposted from the A30, the A391 and the A390.

By Train
The nearest major town to Eden is St Austell which is approximately four miles away. Regular direct services run to and from London and across the UK with bus services connecting to Eden. Par is the nearest mainline station from where Eden is only a 45 minute walk or taxi ride away.

By Bus
Services run regularly from St Austell, Newquay, Helston, Falmouth and Truro to and from Eden's Banana coach park. Take advantage of a discounted combined bus fare and admission ticket and be dropped off close to the Visitor Centre. Using public transport is a far more environmentally-friendly option than driving yourself.

By Air
Newquay Airport is the nearest to Eden with services from London Gatwick, London Stansted, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds/Bradford, Dublin and Cardiff. Regular bus services run from Newquay to St Austell and there is a twice daily direct service from the airport to Eden. Taxis and car hire are also available from the airport.

By Bike
The newly opened Clay Trails offer the visitor a scenic alternative to the roads whilst at the same time offering a taste of the industrial heritage of Cornwall. The Bugle, Wheal Martyn and Par Beach trails all go towards Eden. Eden provides bike racks, lockers and a £3 discount on admission for cyclists.
