Trevalsa Court Country House Hotel and Restaurant faces south enjoying some excellent sea views, embracing many miles of coast and headlands. The hotel's lovely grounds are immediately above Polstreath Beach, which is directly accessible from the garden, descending one of the two small stepped pathways. The beach itself is very sheltered and with its gently sloping sands and secluded coves, offers every facility for safe bathing, underwater swimming and fishing from its rocks.

Perhaps most important Trevalsa Court, while being in a quiet, secluded traffic-free position above the village, can be reached by car from the main road to St Austell without passing through the narrow streets of Mevagissey itself.

With its oak-panelled hall and dining room, beautifully furnished lounge and mullioned windows, Trevalsa Court recalls the ambience of a bygone age. In addition there is an intimate cocktail bar. Our cuisine places great emphasis on fresh food courteous service and a choice of carefully selected wines.

The resident owners closely supervise all aspects of the hotel's service and amenities, and extend the warmest of welcomes to all visitors, including those from overseas - who enjoy Trevalsa Court as the quintessence of the English country hotel.

From the hotel gardens, lovely walks can be enjoyed through unspoiled, tranquil scenery. In one direction the footpath leads in a few minutes to the fascinating harbour, full of character, and the typically Cornish streets of the famous fishing village of Mevagissey.

All principal bedrooms have splendid sea views, and the whole hotel is centrally heated, ensuring warmth and comfort for off-season and winter holidays. All bedrooms are en suite and have tea-making facilities and colour television. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, eminently suitable for elderly guests.
