There are details on how to get to Cornwall's biggest attraction, known as the eighth wonder of the world, a map showing the project and surrounding towns in Cornwall.
The Eden Project has become the most visited attraction in Cornwall. Built in a disused clay pit close to St Austell, the landscape has been transformed into a breathtaking attraction to both entertain and educate.
The two main Geodesic Domes are now well established, with planning for a third, "The Edge" now being at an advanced stage. Currently the environments are a rain forest similar to that of the Amazon Basin and a dry temperate region modeled on the characteristics of regions such as the Mediterranean or California.
As well as being a major tourist attraction, the Eden Project is a huge educational and research facility producing a great deal of information about the flora and fauna of the earth and how we interact and depend on it. This is focused around "The Core"; the recently completed state of the art educational centre.
